Sometimes, yes. I don’t promote this as a standalone service because nothing is certain with the spirit world. It can be unpredictable. They may not come through on command, and rather than disappoint someone, I instead include them while performing my other services. I typically find that a spirit will come through more easily when the atmosphere of the conversation is relaxed, often during Tarot readings and when the client is reminiscing about the person or speaking casually. A nice quiet conversation over coffee or tea might be just the thing!

No, all of my costs are included in your package. For my free services, I do appreciate donations for travel expenses.

A home cleansing may be necessary if you have a haunting in your home. It will involve spirit communication and cleansing your home of spirit energies (ghosts, entities, hauntings, etc.) through counseling, prayer, and ceremony, including the burning of herbs and resins where necessary and possible. Alternative methods can be used to avoid allergens and property restrictions. This service includes an initial consultation and one follow-up session, either remotely or in person. I’ll ask questions about your current situation, including your living situation and circumstances leading to your request for help. If I cannot resolve situations, I have resources to whom I may refer you for resolution.

Home blessings are great when you are moving into a new home or experiencing any other life event, such as the birth of a child or marriage. This service may involve some spirit communication and includes a quick cleansing of the home through prayer and ceremony and the burning of herbs. It includes an initial consultation and one follow-up session, if desired, either remotely or in person.

It’s best to have only those who already live in the home present. Additional people can be a distraction and prevent the natural energies of your home from being read clearly.

Nothing is certain with home cleansings. While some first attempts do work, sometimes a second visit is required. This is normal, so don’t be concerned. One follow-up visit is included in your package at no extra cost because a spirit may need time to digest what’s being attempted, and the goal is to usher them to safety in the kindest way possible. Some people just need more time.

Sometimes, yes. I’ve had direct experience with spirits who were less than nice, most of whom are merely humans who are hurting emotionally. Truly evil spirits are extremely rare and I do not subscribe to the belief that all spirits or malevolent hauntings are demons. If there is something there that is truly malevolent, I may recommend contacting a priest to perform a blessing.

Please do not perform saging or smudging in your home if you are not 100% familiar with the proper protocols or possible consequences. This type of activity can be dangerous for you and for the spirit residing there. Much like an exorcism, the wrong type of treatment can anger a spirit or cause them emotional trauma, which may then be acted out in unexpected ways. When these types of things are done without the right frame of mind and intent, it will backfire. I’m more than happy to visit your home and discuss ways we can address the issue without causing unnecessary harm or trauma. 

When I visit your home, I will assess the situation and perform a cleansing for you, if necessary, or recommend further actions. I typically also provide advice on home protection, self-protection, and even how you can correctly perform your own home blessings and simple cleansings for regular maintenance. No! Exorcisms are only to be performed under very limited circumstances when the spirit is truly malevolent, and it may take some time to make that determination. Truly malevolent spirits or entities are extremely rare. The vast majority of hauntings are caused by human spirits who find it difficult to move on. They need counseling and empathy, not brute force. They may be acting out because they’re trying to communicate that something is wrong. If you’re not a medium, you can’t hear them, and they may become frustrated. The actions they take can be scary, and people tend to think automatically that they’re malevolent when they are just people trying to get your attention. Performing an exorcism or smudging can often cause the spirit emotional or mental pain and anguish, they might become stuck (exorcism is a magical rite, and can inadvertently harm the human dead), and they can consequently lash out in frustration.
